We have had a number of requests for support recently and it prompted us to update the history on the website. You can find up-to-date details on help provided to children with a DIPG and local dancers furthering their studies at this page.

Who would have thought that Willie and Andrew would have won a style award?!? But that is exactly what they managed to do whilst covering the 100 miles on the Pro route of the Scottish Tour Ride in September. The trophy was sponsored by Rudy Project accessories and is awarded at the finish line for the team in the most eye-catching cycle wear. It gave Andrew a chance to explain what Katie’s Trust is doing to help patients with a DIPG – many thanks to the cyclist who gave us £25 on the back of that interview. Andrew and Willie now need to work out a rota for having the trophy on their mantelpieces! Well done guys!!

Last weekend Granny, Grandpa, cousin Cammie and the Baldy Bikers (aka Johnny & Dave) rode the forty seven miles from Glasgow Green to Murrayfield. It was a great effort and helped raised £1500+ for Katie’s Trust – more than covers the money we paid out last week to help a family go on holiday with their daughter. Thanks very much to all of you, it was a fantastic achievement. Here are some photos for the timebeing – the Baldy Bikers might overcome their modesty and post some too!!

Students and Staff at Borders College served up a superb tea party last Monday. The weather held out, allowing guests to enjoy an alfresco cuppa in the college quadrangle. As well as sandwiches and cakes, the students were selling cupcakes and fudge. Those sales, combined with tickets and raffle, totalled £439. Ann and I would like to thank everyone involved in making the event so successful- THANKS!
