A HUGE thanks to mum, dad, Chris, Jo, Brian, Colin and Cammie for serving up the soup, sandwiches, tea and cakes at the hall yesterday. A special thanks to Mandy and Scott Irvine (Harmonies in Wood) for the wonderful ‘journey’ sculpture raffle prize and for donating 20% of the proceeds from the sale of fused glass/jewellery. In total the event raised a massive £1874, plus there was further £136 from KMT merchandise ((thanks Cammie!). We would really like to thank the guests for putting their hands in their pockets to generously support the Trust. Here are some photos – click here.

Angela Swinden found out about Katie’s Trust through Alison Easto (Mirren’s auntie) and offered to raise funds for the Trust whilst running the Belfast Half Marathon. Although Angela has participated in many running events, this one proved to be a real test because she was not well on the day! Not only did Angela complete the 13-mile course, she also raised a huge £640 in the space of ten days. A massive thanks to Angela, her husband and everyone who donated through JustGiving (https://www.justgiving.com/Angela-BelfastHalfMarathon/).

Cammie cycled the 47 miles from Glasgow Green to Murrayfield last weekend in a fantastic time of 4 hours. It’s even more impressive when you realise he had his dad drafting in his slipstream all the way!!!! Cammie used the cycle to raise £460 for Katie’s Trust – a huge amount by any standards! Here is Cammie in action –
Thanks very much from Auntie Ann and Uncle Andrew.

Update on ‘third’ half of Join Us In June – Mirren’s pool party raised £70; £90 from Sweetnam’s Common Riding Breakfast; and a fantastic £220 from Hannah’s Garden Party. That takes grand total to £6,441 – thanks everyone!
We received an email last week from Dad of a wee girl with a DIPG – thanking us for the money that will allow them to go on a special holiday. This is the difference that your fundraising makes – thank you.
