Clay pigeon shoot nets amazing £6K

We would like to thank everyone who supported the Charity Shoot, Auction & Raffle on Saturday 11th July at Bisley at Braidwood in aid of the Katie McKerracher Trust.  We were staggered with the total of £6,324.99!  We would like to thank the auction sponsors, raffle donors, the 19 teams of shooters, anyone who bought a raffle ticket or bid on the auction … and finally Mandy & Mark for getting the event off the ground.

Results and photos can be found at http://www.bisleyshooting.co.uk/bisley-at-braidwood/

THANKYOU!

On the right track

posted in: DIPG, Fundraising, News

Earlier this week we needed to contact one of the DIPG clinical experts to assist in a grant application.  As well as offering to support our application he re-affirmed that Katie’s Trust is making a difference to children with a DIPG and their families – “you continue to do amazing work to help families like yourself”.

Lunch and fused glass/jewellery sale at Stormontfield

posted in: DIPG, Events, Fundraising, News

A HUGE thanks to mum, dad, Chris, Jo, Brian, Colin and Cammie for serving up the soup, sandwiches, tea and cakes at the hall yesterday.  A special thanks to Mandy and Scott Irvine (Harmonies in Wood) for the wonderful ‘journey’ sculpture raffle prize and for donating 20% of the proceeds from the sale of fused glass/jewellery.  In total the event raised a massive £1874, plus there was further £136 from KMT merchandise ((thanks Cammie!).  We would really like to thank the guests for putting their hands in their pockets to generously support the Trust.  Here are some photos – click here.
