We met Jack yesterday and heard how he had gone busking in Edinburgh on his eleventh birthday. The young piper from Coupar Angus was able to collect £128.49 in only 90 minutes in St. Andrews Square! Well done Jack! Here he is with the cheque … taking a rest from piping duties at Lynn’s charity bakehouse.
Just wanted to give you all a sneak preview of the menu and auction items for the dinner that Skip has organised for 26th September!
We would like to thank everyone who supported the Charity Shoot, Auction & Raffle on Saturday 11th July at Bisley at Braidwood in aid of the Katie McKerracher Trust. We were staggered with the total of £6,324.99! We would like to thank the auction sponsors, raffle donors, the 19 teams of shooters, anyone who bought a raffle ticket or bid on the auction … and finally Mandy & Mark for getting the event off the ground.

A HUGE thanks to mum, dad, Chris, Jo, Brian, Colin and Cammie for serving up the soup, sandwiches, tea and cakes at the hall yesterday. A special thanks to Mandy and Scott Irvine (Harmonies in Wood) for the wonderful ‘journey’ sculpture raffle prize and for donating 20% of the proceeds from the sale of fused glass/jewellery. In total the event raised a massive £1874, plus there was further £136 from KMT merchandise ((thanks Cammie!). We would really like to thank the guests for putting their hands in their pockets to generously support the Trust. Here are some photos – click here.no comments
