Earlier this week we needed to contact one of the DIPG clinical experts to assist in a grant application. As well as offering to support our application he re-affirmed that Katie’s Trust is making a difference to children with a DIPG and their families – “you continue to do amazing work to help families like yourself”.

Big thanks to Johnny, Dave and Charlie for helping us raise over £900 on Sunday at the Etape Caledonia! Big hand to Johnny who nearly finished on a unicycle!!
Our achievements have also been featured in Story Contracting’s “Our Story” – http://email.unionroom.co.uk/t/ViewEmail/r/33C3821FB9D43FBA2540EF23F30FEDED/D36D8D277F2BF4B45281BC0AA5ABFD98

A HUGE thanks to mum, dad, Chris, Jo, Brian, Colin and Cammie for serving up the soup, sandwiches, tea and cakes at the hall yesterday. A special thanks to Mandy and Scott Irvine (Harmonies in Wood) for the wonderful ‘journey’ sculpture raffle prize and for donating 20% of the proceeds from the sale of fused glass/jewellery. In total the event raised a massive £1874, plus there was further £136 from KMT merchandise ((thanks Cammie!). We would really like to thank the guests for putting their hands in their pockets to generously support the Trust. Here are some photos – click here.
